Gertie the Duck was read to 4K. It is the true story of a duck who built a nest on a post in the Milwaukee River downtown near where the old Gimbels store was located in 1945. The students responded with their picture of Gertie.
The 4K class also made an Alphabet book after we read ABC books for a series of weeks. This is an example of one of them.
